I am currently an associate at Clifton Larson Allen. I graduated from Southeastern University in December of 2021 with a Bachelors in Accounting and Pre-Law and a minor in Information Management and Data Analytics. I have many aspirations including becoming both a CPA and a corporate lawyer utilizing my strong work ethic and self-motivation. I have always been passionate about business – participating all four years of my high school career in DECA, an international competition aimed at preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs. I competed at the regional, state, and national level achieving top 20 in the world my senior year of high school for the business franchise plan my partner and I extensively created and developed. Additionally, I am passionate about law, in high school and college I found opportunities to shadow a personal injury attorney, an estate attorney, and an in house counsel attorney providing insight into the wide array of legal specializations. While I strongly believe in the importance of learning in a classroom setting, I have also been able to gain valuable experience in the workplace. During the past tax season, I was able to acquire a tax internship at a local CPA firm learning and assisting in the completion of corporate and individual tax returns. Before becoming an Associate at CLA, I had the privilege of holding an internship position at W.S. Badcock as a financial accounting intern learning from staff and senior accountants in their daily, monthly, and fiscal year end tasks. I am a highly dependable, trustworthy, and focused individual. With my time management and analytical skills, I thrive on my ability to be efficient and effective in a high paced work environment.
