Kaleigh P. Morrison is an Intellectual Property Attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP in Intellectual Property group and on the Trademark, Copyright, and Media litigation team. In particular, she assists domestic and international clients with a focus on brand and trademark identification, development, and clearance, and prosecution, as well as copyright protection in the United States at the USPTO, TTAB, Federal Court, and ICANN Forum. She graduated cum laude from New York Law School in New York City in 2018. Upon graduating from law school, Kaleigh received The Abraham “AVI” Mund Prize for Excellence in Information Technology and the Law. She was a Student Attorney for the inaugural year of the United States Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Clinic at New York Law School. Kaleigh was an Associate Fellow for the Innovation Center for Law and Technology at NYLS, assisting the Director and Assistant Director with event planning and management, and writing case alerts on IP law. Kaleigh P. Morrison started her career as a young professional as the Executive Producer for the 5 and 6 o'clock evening newscasts for the NBC affiliate, WETM-TV, in Elmira, NY. Kaleigh is a proud 2013 graduate from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a Bachelor's Degree in Television, Radio and Film. She minored in Marketing at the Whitman School of Management and Spanish in the College of Arts and Sciences. Kaleigh spent the summer prior to her senior year at SU in Singapore working at NBCUniverisal Asia as the communications intern, an experience she cherishes not only for its educational and professional benefits, but also for its life lessons and igniting a desire to engage with new cultures and parts of the world. She aspires to bring relevant, powerful stories, art, and content to the public in way that protects the rights of authors and owners, while simultaneously enriching the culture around them. Kaleigh has a passion for fitness, baking, animals, traveling, and gaining a more inclusive worldwide perspective on human stories.
