My position as an event assistant/coordinator pertains to a large variety of responsibilities. I am directly involved in the process of booking and organizing vendors, and am responsible for the contact between the venue staff and said vendors on the day of an event. My job also includes tasks such as planning and setting up decor, assigning staff to particular positions throughout the night, and assisting with the breakdown of the event. I work closely with the venue management team in order to ensure smooth transitions and client satisfaction. This job requires exquisite conceptualization skills, the ability to be active for long periods of time, and a keen eye for detail.

In my position as a barista/shift manager, I was responsible for the well-being of my staff, store, and customers during my times of operation. I would assume management responsibilities such as resolving customer service issues, stocking/maintaining the store, managing money, overseeing my employees, and assigning their positions for the day. I was also responsible for contributing to service by preparing and serving food and drink for customers. This position required strong multitasking abilities, vocalleadership skills, and the ability to be active for long periods of time.
