As the Missouri Ethics Commission’s Compliance and Education Specialist, I develop training resources to help government officials, candidates, lobbyists, and the public understand and comply with Missouri's governmental ethics laws. In this role, I have expanded the MEC's virtual learning curriculum by developing and coordinating more than 30 webinars each year and producing YouTube tutorials. Furthermore, I have developed publications, in-person presentations, virtual learning curriculum, and social media for Missouri's community leaders. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge of the Commission's advanced administrative processes and leading in efforts to increase compliance within the regulated community.In May 2020, I graduated summa cum laude from Truman State University with degrees in communication and political science. In an effort to learn as much as possible about these fields, I took several courses related to political communication, persuasion, and public policy. In addition to my coursework, I completed a hands-on political communication internship in the Missouri State Senate and completed a copywriting and public relations internship with A.T. Still University.
