I am a Registered Nurse with experience in Occupational Health. My skills include case management, health promotion/education, mental health support, medical surveillance examinations, immunizations, health assessments, and clinical care. I am able to develop positive therapeutic relationships with all of my clients and use my interactions as touch points to promote health and wellness in their daily lives. I have a passion for public health and ensuring that individuals are able to access care in their communities that meet their needs and address the social determinants of health. I believe the healthcare system needs to continue to innovate and provide creative solutions when supporting the preventative and ongoing complex health needs our community especially populations that are underserved (i.e. Indigenous, Black and POC, chronic disabilities, mental health, LGBTQIA2S+ and women).
