Team Lead for Intensive In-Home Services at Daymark Recovery Services. Provides Clinical Team Supervision for two Human Service Clinicians who operate as a team approach designed to serve families and children/adolescents who are unable to remain stable in the community or home without intensive services. Provides clinical services for families/children/adolescence who have current serious and chronic symptoms of an emotional, behavioral, and/or substance use disorders.

Worked as an intern at Lexington Center for Recovery in Poughkeepsie, NY for my senior year field placement. We worked with clients who have Substance Use Disorders and experience serious and persistent mental illness. I help to co-facilitate groups that range from DBT, MRT, Mind-Body Recovery, Trauma and Recovery and Coping skills. I also provide individual help with clients while being supervised.

I hope to work in the areas of counseling to help individuals and families with social issues they may be experiencing. I would love to work with individuals who have a substance use disorder or are experiencing serious and persistent mental illness. With my athletic background I would also love to work with athletes who may be experiencing adversity within their sport.

My Clinical Internship at Appalachian State University was working for the Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program on campus. Served as a person centered planner in a transition-focused program working with students with an intellectual disability. I developed an understanding of the unique needs of individuals on the autism spectrum. My job was to advise and assist scholars throughout the semester on their career, personal. independence, health and wellness and social goals.

I was an intern at the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie in Poughkeepsie, NY. This was during my Junior year fall semester internship. Due to COVID-19 this internship was strictly online. I completed many training videos on domestic violence and human trafficking and also provided assistance with any office work they needed help with.
