In the role of National Engagement Officer, Kaley is responsible for researching, discovering, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding high-net worth donors and major gifts. By leveraging her innate desire to help individuals achieve their philanthropic goals in addition to sharing her unique personal account of benefiting from non-profit work, Kaley has secured significant monetary gifts. For Kaley, although the gift is essential to ongoing programs that save lives, the pride of her work is rooted in the continued rapport building with donors as they develop their own unique experience of seeing lives changed as a direct result of their generosity. Kaley currently maintains consistent contact with members of her national portfolio that includes investors from coast to coast.

Grant researching; writing, and reporting on state, private foundation, corporate, and federal grants, grant team delegation, planning and executing fundraising initiatives, event planning and execution, high-net worth donor relationship cultivation and management, and general data entry in a CRM.

Duties as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator included: drafting job postings, drafting interview questions and criteria, reviewing and vetting candidate applications, managing interview team schedules, conducting interviews, conducting interview debriefings and providing hire recommendations, training interview staff, managing all correspondence regarding hiring recommendations and expectations.

Job duties and responsibilities encompassed: securing implementation of Phoenix operations in Boise,ID by; assisting in identify physical location, ensure all operational necessities were implemented (i.e. internet, ADT, utility services, phone systems etc.), lead daily community events (primarily CrossFit, Indoor Rock Climbing, and hiking), identify potential community partners, help develop policies and procedures surrounding criminal justice partnerships, research and pursue potential funding opportunities, promote Phoenix culture, complete volunteer and contractor trainings, construct monthly event calendars, and actively share personal peer-to-peer experience with team members to encourage a meaningful community atmosphere.

Kaley's role as a Member Retention Senior Specialist required a mature knowledge of how to apply state regulatory requirements to automobile and property insurances while maintaining a high level of member service and solution finding. Through deepening and retaining relationship by leveraging the competitive lines of business offered by USAA, she achieved weekly and quarterly goals. In addition to overcoming member concerns, she professionally managed the various challenges of being among the first Work At Home representatives while continuously growing and improving her skills in analyzing contracts and member needs. She also served my team as a PRIDE representative and UCOUNT point of contact in an effort to grow our staff’s involvement in innovative and broad organizational support initiatives.

As a Lead Teller, Kaley managed and delegated tasks to a teller team of between two and five people. Responsibilities included maintaining a personal cash-line of $15,000 dollars, balancing and maintaining the integrity of our branch vaults, annual key inventories and key assignments, and assisting both the Service Managers and Branch Manager in compliance reports and updates. Kaley excelled in achieving sales metrics and participating in offering and receiving coaching with peers and supervisors.
