In my current role as a mechanical engineering intern, my day-to-day activities include operating high-tech machinery such as CNC mills, 3D printers, and an autofeed bandsaw to produce molds for prosthetic arms. Moreover, I generate G-Code toolpaths using Fusion 360 Manufacture to program a 3-axis Tormach CNC milling machine to cut aluminum stock. By collaborating with the production and R&D team, we work towards the design and creation of devices to produce high quality results before given deadlines.

During my time as a systems engineering intern through UCF's Career Work Experience Program (CWEP), I solidified my skills in Microsoft 365 and gained valuable lab experience. I assisted full-time employees and other interns both in the lab and in the office with their assigned tasks and projects. Additionally, I analyzed documents with various computer programs such as Rational DOORS, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and utilized datamining techniques to create excel spreadsheets with consolidated information from multiple documents.
