As a Student Admissions Representative at the University of Manitoba, I am responsible for advising new and returning students on requirements, related policies, and inquiries related to admission into the University of Manitoba. I communicate frequently with various offices at the university and manage a high volume of phone calls and email inquiries from student and colleagues, triaging requests accordingly.

As a receptionist/administrative assistant at a full service salon I coordinated schedules, meetings, and client appointments in an organized online calendar for various service providers. I also provided administrative support to the salon owner including sorting and scanning documents, coordinating digital and hard copy filing systems, placing supply orders, and processing invoices.

As a contract tracer I corresponded with those exposed to COVID-19 through daily phone calls to assess signs/symptoms in an understanding and respectful fashion. I was responsible for documenting relevant information for data entry into Shared Health department systems and facilitated referrals for testing and medical evaluation.

I started at Moxies as a hostess and eventually became a server/cash administrator. As a server, I worked with a large team to ensure quality customer service in a high volume environment and trained new employees to familiarize them with company expectations and culture. Additionally, as a cash administrator I calculated the tip pool and balanced tills in the restaurant, maintaining a high attention to detail.
