With over 20 years of experience in journalism and communication, I have a passion for telling impactful stories that inspire positive change. As a communication partner at the Danish Red Cross, I supported the international department in developing and implementing strategic communication plans for various humanitarian programs and campaigns. I also coordinated crisis communication for the IFRC, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination and media relations during emergencies. In addition, I have been an independent journalist, communicator, and facilitator, working with diverse clients and organizations on topics such as democracy, gender, and human rights. I have designed and delivered workshops on digital and mobile media, managed entire comms products for web and social media platforms, and contributed to documentary films and research projects. I have multiple certifications in journalism, training, and security, and a drone license that allows me to capture and produce stunning visuals. I have strong skills in online journalism, news writing, and storytelling, and I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques.
