As the first Regional Visual Manager for Aeropostale, I was assigned to the West Coast region to help build the brand and create visual consistency and standards across a very fast growing region. I had the opportunity to be a part of the growth of Aeropostale out West. Working with an amazing team including our corporate offices in New York, Regional Managers, District Managers, Store Managers and many more: communication, dedication and visual excellence created a new wave of success for Aeropostale.As a Regional Visual Manager, I oversaw 7 Districts and led over 40 new store openings and remodels. I was in charge of training basic visual standards, visual decisions to increasing volume of merchandise within the stores, and marketing standards and consistency across the region. With multiple store versions, it was imperative to maintain the Brand throughout each design by making fixture placement decisions, marketing decisions based on window layouts, mannequin placements and much more. I was a very hands on Visual Manager that would get in the stores and work till the job was done to make things happen. It was my passion to ensure that the visual standards were held in order to increase the success of the company, the region, each district, each store and each employee involved.
