About Kaliko Castille

With over a decade of experience in digital marketing, communications, and organizing, I am the Co-Founder and CEO of ThndrStrm Strategies, a marketing and political strategy firm that helps brands and organizations develop and execute an organic digital content strategy that helps them establish a community of potential customers, members, or donors. As a passionate cannabis advocate and industry leader, I have also served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, the largest and most diverse trade association for people of color in the cannabis industry. In this role, I focused on building organizational infrastructure, growing membership, and preparing for an intense couple of years in the social equity policy-making front as federal prohibition comes to an end. Additionally, I have extensive experience in developing and executing digital strategy for political campaigns, including running for State Representative in Oregon in 2022. My mission is to use my skills and expertise in digital marketing, brand building, and cannabis policy to create positive social change and empower communities that have been historically marginalized and oppressed. I believe that digital storytelling is a powerful tool for raising awareness, educating, and mobilizing people around causes that matter. I am always looking for new opportunities and challenges to apply my knowledge and passion to make a difference in the world.
