My early career has been dedicated to environmental regulation and compliance within South Australia across multiple industries and areas of environmental impact. More then just the science and auditing of the day to day, this time has also provided opportunities to contribute to policy reviews, contribute to better regulatory processes and procedures, and begin developing in the leadership space. I want my career to have a positive impact on the environment in whatever roles I take on as i progress. I am constantly looking for the opportunity to solve challenges, and address current issues, be it fixing pasts damages, or preventing future ones. Also, I strongly value continuing to embrace opportunities to grow, learn, and continually add to my personal skillsets and challenge the status quo. My previous research experience explores the climatic impacts of artificial wetlands as a greenhouse gas sink/source which has given me a appreciation of the interconnectivity of the world we live in and the complexities of working in the space of climate science.
