Kalin Dudley is the Founder and Senior Strategist at Paki Park Interactive, an online marketing firm that is based in Austin, Tex., but that has a nationwide clientele, which it offers complete online marketing packages.Dudley describes Paki Park’s work as a strategic combination of search engine marketing (SEM), social media and website optimization. By combining these disciplines, Paki Park can deliver, in essence, “the new PR online” to “protect and advance your brand” by influencing the fast-moving conversations that take place on social media (e.g., Facebook, YouTube and Twitter) in a way that can turn negative chatter about a brand or a company into something positive.Dudley’s six years of experience with these online marketing tools includes three years at Leverage Marketing (Austin), a national leader in paid search (pay-per-click, or PPC). His last job there was Director of Paid Search, in which capacity he led a team of 15 Google-certified search engine marketing specialists who managed over $1.5 million in monthly budgets. Earlier, he was Manager of Search Marketing at Spur Interactive (Houston). Dudley is also the co-founder of an Austin-based group of 20 search engine marketing professionals who meet monthly to network and share strategies.Born and raised in Honolulu – he graduated from Saint Louis School before going on to get his bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University, where he focused on business, information systems and decision sciences, and communications – Dudley had some important experiences at Honolulu’s Paki Park.
