Our aim is to inspire ship owners with quality of the Seafarers that we offer. Furthermore, CMC focuses on ship broking & chartering and facilitating of commodity sourcing in to Sri Lanka and the region. Currently, our strength lies in sourcing Cement clinker, LPG and Petroleum products.

I was entrusted as a consultant to make Lanka Marine Services autonomous as a Crew Manager for their own in-house fleet of bunker Tankers. Setting up the unit entailed creating the SOP s, Quality manuals, Manning the fleet with the right personnel and finding the right people to be in charge of this wing.

I was offered a contract by Hili Ventures Marine of Malta to set up a 3rd party crew management outfit for them under the name - Marine HR Global.

Represents HSBA in Sri Lanka and Maldives in order to promote Executive Education and German dual education system in Sri Lanka which is intertwined with Industries.

Mercantile Marine Management established in 1996 under the Mercmarine Group of Companies, Sri Lanka & is specialised in Crew Management (Marine HR) and Technical management aspects of Ship Management . A growing crew pool of over 3000 seafarers are employed with 17 different Ship owners/managers across 100+ vessels that are trading world wide. Currently the Technical Management functions are limited to a fleet of 7 vessels that are owned within the group. As the Business Development Manager, my main responsibility is to attract new Ship Owners and Ship Managers to place their vessels with Mercmarine for specialized "Marine HR " services while implementing seamless crew sourcing strategies to cater to the ever growing modern fleet of our existing clients . This entails representing the company at global level summits/ conferences & exhibitions for networking purposes and making presentations to C- Level decision makers of potential & prospective Shipowning and Ship Management companies.
