I am currently working on the translational aspects of breast cancer – predicting the outcome of fluorouracil, epirubicin and cyclophosphamide (FEC) combined chemotherapy through NUB1 protein staining. I understand the assessment of potential therapeutics in human models during drug development.

Assigned on medical pharmacology module to prepare pre-clinical medical students to clinical setting. I contributed primarily to teaching and teaching administration that include curriculum planning and development, coordinating instructors, delivering instruction to students (including lecturing, small group facilitation, and research project advising), proctoring and grading, and mentoring/advising students. By leveraging the expertise, research capabilities, and educational role, pharmacology lecturers can actively contribute to the pharmaceutical industry.

For industry, I worked two bioequivalence studies (moxifloxacin and etoricoxib) and a halal pharmaceutical study on erythropoietin (biologics) injectables. Scientific leadership in drug development plays a critical role in driving the discovery and development of safe and effective drugs, while ensuring adherence to scientific principles, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.Evaluate halal pharmaceutical aspect of erythropoietin prescriptions.

Working on pharmacogenetic study of chronic myeloid leukemic treatment course: We were trying to look at the mechanism of genetic polymorphisms that could affect the outcome of drug treatment among patients.

It is a part of project to develop a simple and sensitive method for the simultaneous detection of imatinib mesylate (IM) and its active metabolite, N-desmethyl imatinib (M1), in human serum samples. The method was successfully applied to calculate the pharmacokinetic parameters of chronic myeloid leukemia patients receiving imatinib. The method is suitable to be routinely applied for determination of IM and M1 in serum. This work became a part of my MSc.
