As an educator, I plan and implement a research-based program of instruction that adheres to the company’s philosophy, goal, and objectives, as outlined in the adopted courses of study. I also make purposeful and appropriate lesson plans which provide for effective teaching strategies and maximizes time on task. Presenting subject matter to students to maximize learning opportunity and provide real-world, application based examples and opportunities is a highlight of my day. I review student records in order to develop a foundation of understanding regarding each students’ abilities and needs, as well as maintain accurate and complete student records. I strive to utilize a variety of student learning modalities in each lesson and use differentiated instruction within those lessons. I also utilize diagnostic assessment of student learning, as well as assess strengths and weaknesses on a frequent basis

I get the honor of helping to educate our world's young minds by carrying out the lesson plans in the teacher's absence. I also administer tests and assist administration and other teachers when necessary, while ensuring the kids follow all expectations.

Of my many tasks, my favorites are the opportunity to manage community support workers, and ensure quality is upheld. I also get to assist in developing, implementing, and training personnel on new programs and procedures.

Strong management skills were required to manage 200 to 300 claim files as well as field representatives spanning 5 states. I communicated with the field representatives, Claimants, witnesses, and legal representatives, as well as handled interoffice communication with directors, legal advisors, and client relations. You can't conduct an investigation without a statement guide, which I compiled, and letters were compiled and sent when necessary. Upon completion of the investigation, I noted all activities and findings in a report that was later sent to the client.

In my role with Aflac, I conducted all aspects of customer service and management. I scheduled meetings, wrote insurance policies, and kept in tune with the needs of my clients. I was licensed in health, life, and accident insurance by the State of Louisiana.
