Assist with all aspects of Strange Victory Vintage, a vintage furniture refurbisher and reseller. Pick up and deliver furniture, communicate with potential customers, track inventory, assist with furniture restoration, manage accounts.

6th grade ELA Lead Teacher. Plan and hold content meetings for the grade, and provide support for new teachers. Initiated a Social Emotional Learning program throughout the school, including teaching all school staff about the importance of SEL, how to implement Tier 1 SEL, and how to track data for Tier 2 and 3 SEL services. Initiated and implemented Tier 2 SEL services. Initiated and implemented, including all materials, an Advisory period for the whole school. As Chief Equity Influencer, worked on a district wide team to analyze school policies and ensure that schools were working towards educational equity and anti-racist school policies.

Chosen for highly selective policy and advocacy, nine-month fellowship through Leadership for Educational Equity. Worked closely with the Executive Director of Connecticut's Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity and Opportunity to research and create policy that equitably addresses the needs of traditionally marginalized populations in the state. Designed and initiated a project to research the root causes of stress and anxiety among school-aged children, with the intention of influencing best practices in Social Emotional Learning Policy.

Taught 8th and 6th grade English Language Arts, as well as directed the ELA Content Team for the school. Planned content meetings for the school and served as liaison between ELA teachers and administration. Also, aligned curriculum across three grade levels. Received ongoing coaching and professional development in teaching pedagogy. Served as the Assistant Coach for the girl’s basketball team from December 2018 through February 2019. Taught Saturday School for students at risk of retention, which resulted in 100% of students moving on to the next grade.

Taught a five week summer school course in Lawrence Public School District using the Common Core Standards and Curriculum. Completed over 100 hours of coursework and seminars in instructional planning, classroom management, learning theory, literacy, and diversity training.

Supported children’s emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts. Instructed children in health and personal habits, such as eating, resting, and toilet habits. Taught children about numbers and letters, colors, shapes, and concepts such as size and order.

Instructed campers on ceramics, both hand-building and working on the wheel. Provided and maintained a nurturing and healthy environment for children ages nine through eighteen. Organized, led, and promoted interest in working creatively and efficiently.
