An Executive Member of the State Office which is located on the campus of the University of Illinois-Champaign-Urbana. We have 40 local offices across the state of Illinois with 185 associates. FBFM assists over 5,000 farmers throughout the state with accounting, financial management and tax consulting services to improve their overall farm business. FBFM recently merged its nine separate associations into one State organization. I am FBFM's first Human Resources leader.

A core member of the executive leadership team for a 347 bed, acute-care hospital, I have demonstrated additional expertise with LTACH, Skilled Care, Home Care and the Medical Group with oversight of 1,800+ total employees. In my VP role, I directed talent acquisition, development, performance improvement, and disciplinary programs, implement workforce policy and procedures, and managed compensation and benefits programs. Strategically, I aligned departmental goals with Align organizational strategy and long-term vision. To drive employee engagement, I cultivated a rewarding culture of excellence, pride, and diversity. Under my direction, the department has launched a conflict resolution program with 100% employee participation, saved $10M with an innovative system-wide benefit program, and propelled participation of RN’s with BSN from 32% to 68% in just three years.

At St. Anthony’s, I delivered expert HR oversight to 146 bed, acute-hospital with over 800 employees. In this capacity, I was a central member of the hospital leadership team and directly supervised a high-performing staff of four. Together, we pioneered a health care career exploration class resulting in a staggering 1,000 high school participants, of whom 50% entered health care field. As well, we led program adoption across Illinois and into Kentucky. Additionally, we launched scholarship program that placed 25 new graduates in hard-to-fill positions with 87% retention and expanded a candidate pipeline by leveraging clinical rotations for 350 students from 59 area education programs.
