❏ SummaryThe main goal of my PhD research was to support energy harvested devices in Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks. In response, I have developed a hierarchical network management scheme for industrial applications which can allow both resource constraints and regular I/O devices (sensors/actuators) in the same network. I have utilised techniques such as dynamic channel selection, distributed resource reservations, channel hopping, interference avoidance, channel blacklisting, etc. while designing the above mentioned solution. My research mostly concerned about the media access control (MAC) layer and the network layer aspects of the wireless systems. ❏ Main activities ✔ Research on energy-harvesting industrial wireless networks✔ Publish results through journals and conferences❏ Other activities✔ Contribute in project meetings and deliverables✔ Collaborate with project partners✔ Follow standardization activity (ISA100.11a, 6-tisch)
