Three academic pursuits; Bachelor study in Industrial & Production Engineering, Master study in Bone Tissue Engineering and PhD study in Soft Tissue Engineering enable me with a diversified skill set and knowledge stream to adapt in cross-disciplinary team aiming for an optimal solution. During my 5-years professional experience in industrial projects on supply chain management, quality improvements, inventory management and lean manufacturing, I have learnt factory operations towards reducing lean adaptive factory waste. My industrial engineering skills are assessed by Engineers Australia as a Professional Industrial Engineer (Skill Level 1, ANZSCO code 233511).Overall, I gained around 5 years of experience in nanotechnology and additive manufacturing and 3 years in clinical science. Currently, I am working in a large interdisciplinary team involving material scientists, gynaecologists, clinicians to translate my research from lab bench to clinic. My academic research demonstrated some alternative treatments for treating Osteoporosis and Pelvic Organ Prolapse using state-of-the-art tissue engineering skills. My research has been featured in several news articles.I am flexible to learn new skills and have a proven track record to work independently as well as in a cross-disciplinary team. I am passionate to innovate MedTech product developments or continual process improvements to better streamline the value addition process.
