About Shivani Thakur
Hello everyone! I am Shivani, a textile designer with a passion for art and I am happy to bring my unique creativity and experience to the design world.I graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology in 2020 and have worked with brands like Devyani Mehrotra and Ihkar where I gained invaluable experience and insights into the industry. I created unique scarf and saree print designs for the brand Ihkar and trained aspiring as well experienced designers to utilise a new Textile design software, AVA. In addition to my design work, I have also managed social media for NETE.IN and developed action-oriented content. I am also thrilled to have participated in a number of art retreats and group exhibitions, where I have had the opportunity to create and showcase my work and connect with other artists and enthusiasts. I began my art journey with a vision to enable the viewer to see humans beyond the physical reality, apprehend our own multilayered being and galaxies of consciousness within.Inspired and uplifted by the verses of Quran, I stared learning Arabic calligraphy as well and created few artworks. Created watercolour saree illustrations for Instagram.
