This included developing the product vision, making crucial hires, overseeing the creation of a robust and scalable data pipeline, designing and implementing powerful machine learning models, building an intuitive analytics portal, devising a go-to-market strategy and onboarding customers.

I helped manage the integration of the team with Uplight, and provided support in conducting due diligence for the roll-up of four acquisitions.

EnergySavvy offers Utilities a SAAS platform for customer engagement to help drive energy efficiency, promote clean energy alternatives, and enhance the overall customer experience. Backed by Prelude and Evergy Ventures, Acquired by Uplight in 2019.As a member of the executive team reporting directly to the CEO, I played a critical role in setting the direction for the company through strategic planning, organizational structure, headcount, financial planning, and culture. I oversaw all engineering activities in product, professional services, and operations. I ensured the delivery of products through the growth lifecycle with appropriate processes, metrics, and technology upgrades to serve millions of users and over 30 Utilities.The technology focused on machine learning and data analytics to deliver personalized customer experiences and workflow management, catering to a diverse set of users - utility customers, employees, and partners. The service was critical to business operations, highly available, operating 24x7x365.I worked closely with Product Management and Sales on roadmap and customer acquisition. I also implemented cybersecurity strategies related to the handling of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and SOC 2. As part of our growth, I set up recruiting processes and managed a diverse team of 50+ engineers across multiple locations. I was also the Executive Sponsor for Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for the company.

Doyenz provided cloud backup and disaster recovery service for physical and virtual servers, fully recoverable in the Doyenz cloud for business continuity. (Acquired by Persistent Systems in October 2012).I owned the product engineering roadmap while managing multiple priorities, customer-driven features, strategic partnerships, and maintaining quality and availability. I steered the team through a period of high growth, scaling from 1K to 7K+ servers and over 5PB of data.I also set the hiring and development process for engineering, growing the team three-fold to support business growth. Additionally, I converted the engineering culture from traditional software development to SAAS service delivery, instilling an agile and customer-centric mindset.As the lead for partner success, I was responsible for alignment of roadmaps, engineering delivery, partner launch plans and sales enablement. Notably, I oversaw successful launches with Labtech, VMware and Symantec branded services.

SynerG provided efficient access to disparate business data via a single unified UI, leveraging SOA and Cloud technologies. Business users could quickly access relevant information at every customer touchpoint.I led the delivery of the product from initial concept to launch with enterprise customers, managed technical aspects of pre-sales, post-sales, demos, POCs, and professional services. I was also involved in shaping the go-to-market strategy, competitive positioning, and PR initiatives. Additionally, I contributed to fund raising and budget planning.

I held various positions in software development and management. As an Engineer, I built software using C, C++, Java, application servers and web technologies. As a Development Manager, I was responsible for managing a team of engineers and coordinating development activities. As a Director of Development, I managed a large engineering organization across multiple product lines, generating over $100 million in annual revenue. Finally, as a Sr. Director, I led the development of a new product, building the engineering team and defining the product roadmap.
