Ioannis Kaltsonidis is an automation engineer, who's engaged in industrial automation and is an expert in industrial weighing systems and packaging machines. In 2011 right after he was released from his military obligations, he worked at PNEUMATEC as part of his internship for AEI of Piraeus, and was involved in industrial pneumatic automation projects.In 2012 right after his internship, he was hired as automation engineer in METROTECH company. In September 2014 he was appointed as head of automation department. He designed and implemented systems and machines for both industrial and non industrial use (food, chemical, pharmaceutical etc). In August 2015 he started working in the tobacco industry for Papastratos company (Affiliate of Philip Morris) as a production electrician. Some of his responsibilities are cigarette-making machines (Hauni machines) fault identification, cigarette-packing machines (Focke and G.D. machines) fault identification, new technology implementation, inkjet machinery and lasers (Domino), printer configuration (Markem and Logopak) production cameras (Cognex), PLC fault identification and installation. Since February 2018 he has been working as an Embedded Engineer for Elettric80, a company whose specialisation is to optimize the Value Chain of the companies in the Consumer Products business. As an Embedded Engineer Ioannis has to supervise the project he has been assigned to and to provide solutions technical and commercial to ensure the proper functioning of the installation.As a site manager he is the team leader of the installation team, he has to meet project milestones, keep project costs under control, he is responsible for liaising with the client and responsible for final acceptance test.
