I received a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting at the University of Washington. I will soon be a candidate to earn a CPA certification. My current experience focuses heavily on modern GAAP accounting practices and bookkeeping skills. Through my courses and the jobs, I have held, I have grown proficient in the use of QuickBooks and the Microsoft suite of programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft 365. I have intensive experience in accounting assistance and bookkeeping, sales, and operations management. I have spent over seven years in the food service, coffee, and fine dining industries, starting when I was 16 years old. I kept track of inventory, restocked crucial items, followed incredibly detailed recipes, monitored finances, tracked daily sales, and was involved in pricing strategies. While working in the fine dining industry, I gained extensive experience in luxury sales and product delivery ensuring that each sale was tailored and personalized to exceed customer expectations. My years of interaction with a diverse and varied customer based has given me experience in conflict resolution and greatly improved my ability to communicate and deal with unprecedented situations. Working for small businesses has honed my ability to be consistently meticulous and detail oriented. I hope to bring these skills to any task or challenge I encounter.
