Development Manager
CurrentSummary of Position:The Development Manager is responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of gifts (both cash and in-kind) to RMT with a focus on corporate, government, and foundation entities in accordance with annual budget goals for each fiscal season.Duties and Responsibilities:Strategically plan and follow through with annual fund solicitations and/or recognition to achieve maximum support level from donorsImplement sponsorship packages and other recognition (program ads, website listings, ticket benefits, signage, curtain speech, etc.) as desired by the donor and in keeping with RMT policies and goalsImplement maintenance of donor records electronically and in physical filesIdentify, submit, and follow up on grant requests and required final reporting to local and national foundations and corporationsStrategically plan and implement (along with department staff) fundraising and donor engagement events throughout the seasonStrategically plan and implement donor thank you’s, engaging other departments as needed – cards from actors & RMT students, sponsor gifts, cards from board members, etc.Work in conjunction with Director of Development to support and engage Board of DirectorsCoordinate with finance department to identify and manage annual fund pledge fulfillmentOther duties as assigned
