Prior to founding nextcleaners™, Kam has been investing in real estate and consumer services based businesses. Kam was President and Chief Executive Officer of ION Networks (IONN.Nasdaq) and Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of Visual Networks (VNWK.Nasdaq). Kam founded Avesta Technologies in 1996, a worldwide leader in Internet Infrastructure management and served as its Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Avesta was acquired by Visual Networks for over $500 million in May 2000. Prior to starting Avesta, Kam held the position of Vice President and Investment Officer with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, and was Vice President and Director of Global Telecommunications and Network Services at Morgan Stanley. Kam served on Boards of Neuron Data, Inc., Persistence Software, Inc. and MetaMatrix, Inc. Kam was also Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Security Industries Association (SIA) Technology Steering Committee. Kam holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and completed extensive graduate work towards an M.S. in Electrical Engineering
