I am currently pursuing my post graduation in Development Studies at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, after graduating in History from the University of Delhi. My academic journey has instilled in me a deep passion for social development, gender equity, and community empowerment, which I strive to further through both my professional and extracurricular engagements.Throughout my career, I have held significant roles across diverse organizations, including my current position as Vice President at Sakhi Welfare NGO, where we focus on women empowerment initiatives. In parallel, I’ve been actively involved with Urban Youth Creative Productions, a youth-run organization where I have contributed to planning and executing workshops, events, and competitions since 2019.I believe I thrive in leadership roles, serving as the Union Advisor and Coordination In Charge for the College Student’s Union at the University of Delhi and as the Chief Advisor of AAGHAAZ, the Women Development Cell. These positions have allowed me to lead initiatives centered on gender equity, student engagement, and event management. I enjoy engaging with diverse communities and initiatives. My extracurricular involvement reflects my commitment to community and cultural development. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I alongside my friends, started the youth-run collective, Covid Aid Assam, which helped me actualise my deep interest in social work and volunteering.As I continue my journey, I am driven by a passion for making meaningful contributions to the social development sector. I aim to leverage my education, leadership experiences, and professional background to create impactful solutions for the communities I serve.
