Reporting to the Board of Directors, I am responsible for implementing the vision and mission of Cultivate CDC. I am responsible for developing and implementing programming and continuing to perfect a model of financial sustainability for Cultivate CDC. Working on-the-ground with residents, I will ensure that our neighbors in Milo-Grogan are being cared for and empowered through holistic means.

Job Functions: volunteer management, community ambassador, program implementationWorking alongside staff, volunteers, and neighbors to implement Cultivate’s programming and provide collaborative community resources to the neighborhood. Working on-the-ground with residents, the Community Engagement Director will ensure that our neighbors in Milo-Grogan are being cared for and empowered through holistic means.

Welcoming high school students to Columbus State Community College and providing tips and steps that they will need to take through the college journey.

The Connect2Complete Peer Advocate Program is a retention program for all students. We connect students to resources both on and off campus providing hope and support so that they continue and finish their path to success at the Columbus State Community College.Peer Advocates hold office hours once a week and also assist professors in the COLS class, which is an orientation class to Columbus State. Peer Advocates also participate in volunteer events off of campus.
