AUDIT DEPARTMENT • Project management; This includes arranging for client meetings, preparing list of audit requirements, managing the manager and partner review schedules, as well as the overall client relationship management.• In-charging audit clients and guiding the team on key procedures to be done during audit as well as maintaining strong client relationships during and after the audit.• Overall review of financial statements of the various clients in different industries as per the international financial reporting standards (IFRS).• Coaching and reviewing of junior staff’s work. I was tasked with timely review of the work done by the associate auditors I as well as timely completion of the teams’ engagement review.• Preparation of group reporting deliverables before manager and partner review and ensuring that group reporting timelines are met per the group instructions.• Preparation of final audit reports including management letters.• Discussion and liaison with clients on various value adding points arising from the audit review and assisting the client on various implementation stages.• Providing insight on the various accounting standards and IFRSs on various technical activities part of the client processes.• Audit and review of client's internal control systems and making relevant recommendations.• Review of tax workings and compliance check for audit clients.• Billings and collection. This involved raising fee notes and following up with the client for payment.• Advising clients as regarding to local and global market trend in the respective industries and the related opportunities and threats presented by internal and external environments.• Attending stock takes, observing the stock take procedures and carrying out test checks to ascertain the completeness, accuracy, valuation and existence of stock items and preparation of stock reports
