My position at WisDOT involves performing research and analysis of electric vehicle (EV) policy as well as assessing the impact of of EV infrastructure and trends. Through this work, I assist the rest of my EV team with the implementation of the Wisconsin Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (WEVI) Program and assess the economic impacts of this program.I am also responsible for the management of Wisconsin's Alternate Fuel Corridors Program and lead economic impact studies in support of Department goals.

Through my internship at WEDC I assisted the Strategic Investment and Policy team through federal policy tracking. I gained experience writing policy memos for internal and external use regarding legislation such as the BIL and IRA which led to larger projects including a federal funding tracker resource.I also completed internal and external data requests regarding WEDC awarding. This task as well as legislative tracking has provided me with experience using Microsoft Office, Salesforce and Wisconsin legislative resources.

I was the head swim coach at Hill Farm Swim Club, a private swimming pool that focuses on community safety and fun this past summer after assistant swim coaching and lifeguarding over the past five years.In my position, I created a positive and safe environment for all members by actively monitoring patrons, enforcing pool rules and developing relationships with coworkers and guests.I helped children develop their swimming skills by coordinating and creating practice plans with fellow coaches. I also prepared swimmers for competition by providing encouragement and constructive feedback during practices.Outside of the pool, I managed the logistical aspects of the swim team, such as writing and sending emails to members and other coaches around the city, inputting meet information into computer programs and coordinating swim meets with my managers and other teams.
