Since 1999, Kamel Mennour presents in his three parisian galleries (47, rue Saint-André des Arts, 6 rue du Pont de Lodi and 28 Avenue Matignon) the works of more than thirty different young contemporary artists who are internationally recognized ; and opened in 2016 a fourth space in London, in Mayfair at 51 Brook Street.Kamel Mennour believes in three major actions: organizing, supporting and producing exhibitions of contemporary artists, in France and abroad, through institutional exhibitions, biennials and international fairs; developping public recognition of international artists; pursuing research work, through the publication of monographs, collective catalogs and the organization of voluntary, critical and curatorial debates. « Kamel Mennour works along with major international institutions such as Centre Pompidou, Muséed d’Art moderne de la ville de Paris, Château de Versailles, Palais de Tokyo, Tate Modern, Guggenheim NYC, Moma NYC, Dia Foundation, Martin Gropius Beu in Berlin, by supporting and producinglarge scale projects and exhibitions (Monumenta, etc...). Since 2014, he has asserted his philanthropic commitment to the Institute Imagine for research on genetic diseases, by organizing of 3 charity auctions.He was nominated the first most respected european art dealer by artnet in 2015, and listed asone of the 50 most influential French people in the world in 2017, by the Vanity Fair.Enjoying in their diversity, the artists represented by the gallery share a common spirit in the expression of their aesthetic, socio-political and intimate questions.
