In charge of interior fit out works of 77 storey Marriott Marquis in Dubai, world’s tallest hotel, consisting of 18 food and beverage outlets, rooftop bars, a business center, conference halls and meeting rooms, an extensive banquet hall, a 3,700 square meter spa and health club, as well as retail outlets, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium.o Act as main coordinate of communication between MEP, Civil, Audio/Visual and all Fit out contractorso Work closely with kitchen equipment supplier to ensure continuity of design in all front of house kitchens and bars o Conduct weekly meetings with the client to provide updates on the progress and to discuss any relevant issueso Review shop drawings and material samples to ensure conformance with designo Coordinate project documentation execution and construction plans and detailso Ensure quality control of all materials and mock-upso Maintain and enforce excellent construction standards and quality controlo Provide alternate design solutions when the proposed design is no longer possible due to site conditionso Conduct and document site inspections to monitor progress of constructiono Define, monitor and maintain control of the scope of work and services for the project including project schedule and work plano Perform construction administration duties such as RFI’s, CVI’s, design change orders o Ensure all design changes are within the approved budget by working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyoro Establish, maintain, and document regular meetings to resolve any technical/design issues and to ensure that there are no deviations to the program o Prepare and walk through the snag list with all concerned parties prior to handover to hotel operator
