I served as a Graphic Designer, fulfilling multiple roles that ranged from print to web design. This includes, but is not limited to: logo design, custom WordPress websites, illustration, and UI design.

My role as Visual Communicator of AAF Spokane was to create eye-catching graphics to promote and garner a wider attendance to the various AAF Events. I also rebuilt the AAF Spokane in WordPress to match the new branding and be more useful to the community.

The position for Graphic Design Club Communicator involved a variety of tasks, including:• Poster design/layout for monthly class speakers, which were posted around the SFCC Technical Arts Building. The speakers are industry professionals, so the posters must be minimal in design, yet appealing to look at.• Sharing of AAF Spokane signature events, other design-related events in Spokane, and possible opportunities for industry involvement for SFCC Graphic Design students, across social media.• Attendance at most, if not all industry events, including events hosted by AAF Spokane. Student representation at industry events is key, so constant reminders are mandatory.

• Communicator between the Graphic Design Club and the other SFCC Clubs.• Attended all of the SFCC Club meetings (weekly) and write notes concerning the Graphic Design program.• Requested school funding for special events and promotional items (mugs, shirts, etc.)

• Communicated between Spokane Falls Community College and the AAF Board.• Made sure SFCC was currently informed about all industry events and promoted the benefits of AAF Membership.• Discussed possible improvements to the AAF Community with selected students at other design colleges (EWU, NIC).• Created a small team of teachers and students at SFCC that shared the same passion for the AAF Community.• Planned AAF Presentations at SFCC, in which AAF professionals could best display the lifelong rewards of AAF membership to students, who may or may not be familiar with what the community offers.• Attended all AAF Board meetings, taking notes on behalf of the other students from SFCC, NIC, and EWU.• Voted on behalf of the students and faculty from the various design schools, guaranteeing that everyone's voice was heard concerning events and possible improvements to AAF.

Graphic Design Intern at Chapter and Verse. I created collateral for non-profit/pro-bono projects, under creative direction/art director from C&V.
