• Conduct routine Microbiology analysis.• Carry out bacterial and viral DNA/RNA extractions, purifications sequencing. • Analyse samples using qPCR, PCR and gel electrophoresis. • Set up and revise quality control for different test methods.• Preparing of documentation for accreditation audit.• Assisting on the development and validation of the methods for analysis of human pathogens.• Assisting the set up and running large-scale microcosm and chemical trials. • Culture and cryopreserve microbial strains and maintain microbial collection.• Participation in general housekeeping and maintenance of the lab on a continuous basis.
