Friendliest Senior, Jolliest Junior, Silliest Sophomore- all titles I held in my high school yearbook voted on by my peers. Now, I know high school was more than a decade ago, but these are titles that are still true today. Throughout my life, I have been able to build and foster relationships and communicate with anyone at any given moment. From serving as a club spokesperson to studying public relations and internal communication, I have perfected the art of communication and made it a part of my everyday life, both digitally and traditionally. My first love was not the boy I met in my Junior year of high school. My first true love was working in a national non-profit agency. It was here I quickly learned I am a servant-leader. A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. While traditional leadership generally involves the accumulation and exercise of power by one at the “top of the pyramid,” servant leadership is different. Good servant leaders are those whose main focus is the people, and this makes the leader fully committed to their growth and development.I've taken what I learned about my servant-leader heart and shared that with everyone during my professional career. I have a passion for people and strategizing new ideas by thinking outside the box to better an old problem. I'm a problem-solving, team player, who knows how to communicate effectively.
