I am currently applying to PhD programs in Clinical Psychology.I graduated in 2023 with a BSc in Psychology, First Class Honors.During my degree, I developed a strong foundation in courses like Clinical Psychology, Physiological Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology and Research Methods. I also developed strong academic writing skills. My research interests include Anxiety disorders, Psychosomatics, and Addiction.My population of interest is Adolescents/young adults.I am a member of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals and the Nigerian Association of Psychology Students.I am currently an Assistant Psychologist and Research Assistant.I am passionate about the use of psychological assessments and interventions to understand and help young adults with mental health issues they may be facing.I am enthusiastic about developing myself in my career through courses and certifications and eventually pursuing advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology.
