Dynamic and motivated professional with a proven record of generating and building strategic partnerships, managing projects, designing and implementing TVET strategies and industrial trades training programs in addition to resource mobilisation. Mohammed has more than a decade of expertise in project management, private sector engagement, international and private sector development, oil and gas local content, Corporate Social Investment, TVET, industrial skills development, multi-stakeholder engagement and organisational development.Mohammed is currently Country Manager for Corporate Professional Industrial (CPI) Training, Private Sector Engagement Specialist, Consultant and Partner of NMB Skills Development Limited, and Resource Mobilisation Consultant. At present he is leading the development of a national training and apprenticeship systesm, jobs and skills programmes and promoting women economic empowerment.He was the Field Manager of the Women Economic Empowerment – Northern Ghana Project overseeing the strategic and operational implementation of the project from February 2020 to April 2021. He was the Private Sector Liaison/Resource Mobilization and TVET Specialist of the WRCF responsible for the overall coordination, planning, development, and management of the WRCF skills development interventions from 2014 - 2020.Mr. Mohammed was a Partner and General Manager of Harvard Marine International Ghana Limited, a company he helped established in 2009 to compliment the early development phase of the nascent oil and gas industry in Ghana and was the President of the Ghana Oil and Gas Service Providers Association (GOGSPA) from 2012-2014. He also worked as a Research Scientist with the Science and Technology Policy Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-STEPRI) from 2006 to 2012. He also served as Secretary to the Ghana Chapter of the Pan African Competitiveness Forum (2009-2012), an organization promoting the establishment of business clusters as a mean of improving business competitiveness in developing countries.He holds an M. Phil in Sociology from the University of Ghana, a Masters Degree in Development Studies from the University of Tromso, in Norway and a B. A. in Sociology from the University of Ghana.
