Hey there, I'm Kamil, a software engineer from Poland, with a few years of experience now, primarly in the web app industry, although I've had my fair share of a mobile game development and upper management experience too. Bellow you'll find details of my IT industry experience.I joined Paidwork as a junior full stack developer in June 2022. Over the course of the next 10 months, I quickly climbed the ladder due to my reliable performance and high availability. Should new challenges present themselves, I was always facing them head-on.When it comes to my main tasks and responsibilites during my 10 months long tenure there, as a programmer, Dev Team Leader and eventually CTO later on, here are some of them:- database re-design allowing multi-language support- delivering more complicated and advanced features- conducting job interviews and workshops- introducing new hirees to the project and code structure- overseeing and guidence for junior level programmers- writing weekly progress reports.In November 2022, as Paidwork opened a mobile game studio called Misty Bytes, I've begun my work there to diversify my portfolio and to gain more experience in the software development industry on a RPG / Roguelike game as a lead developer in the team of three and my main responsibilities were or still are:- creating a tool responsible for map & level generation- adding an enemy spawn system- designing and deploying an intricate items & rewards system, featuring diverse item qualities and statistics.In June 2023 I joined Machineportal.com as a Frontend Developer, to further hone my skills in the web development, this time in the Vue.js framework. Being placed in a friendly work environment, with inspiring and knowledge-sharing team around, it is absolutely a wonderful experience to embark on a more intricate journey throughout the world of developing web applications. Paired up with more up-to-date technologies and pressure on the good coding practices, proper CI/CD implementation.Come January 2024, I've finished my BSE in Computer Science with an A on my diploma.In conclusion, as a relatively young developer, I am continuously gaining experience and becoming a more well-rounded professional. A professional with a more holistic understanding of the industry, including the underlying business processes and real-world problems that often go beyond the scope of what can be learned from books, universities, or coding camps.
