Ph.D. thesis: Neuroimaging of deception in social interaction and lie-detection.Developed a neurocognitive framework for investigating deception experimentally. Defined deception as a crucial part of social communication belonging to a broad spectrum of decision making under risk. In my theoretical and empirical work, I distinguished several steps that should be accounted for in investigating deception: 1) freedom of choice 2) risk evaluation, 3) subjective beliefs about what is true and false, and 4) the necessity of social feedback.
