Kamil Canberk Atik, 2014 yılında, ODTÜ Havacılık ve Uzay Mühendisliği bölümünde okumaya hak kazandı. Eğitimi sürecinde çeşitli projelere ve sosyal topluluklara katıldı. TAI ve ODTÜ'nün beraber yürüttüğü VLA (Very Light Aircraft) projesinin yapısal ekibinde görev aldı. Görev altı ay devam ettikten sonra APSCO'nun TUBİTAK Uzay ile yürüttüğü birbiriyle haberleşen uydu projesine (SSS-2B) katıldı. Halen Türkiye'de ilk olacak bu projeye, yönelim ve kontrol alanında katkı sağlamaktadır. Ayrıca lisans eğitiminin son yılında, Amerika'da NASA'nın düzenlediği en prestijli model uydu yarışması olan CANSAT'a bir takım ile katıldı ve finalistler arasına girip Amerika'da ülkemizi temsil etme heyecanını yaşadı. Lisans derecesini aldıktan sonra, 2019 yılının güz döneminde ise, İTÜ'de özel öğrenci olarak yapay zekâ ve görüntü işleme üzerine ders almaya başladı ve özel öğrenci olduğu süreç boyunca Uçak Uzay Bilimleri Fakültesinde 2 farklı projede çalıştı. 2020 bahar dönemi ile beraber ITÜ'de yüksek lisansa başladı ve halen ITÜ AI'ın Perception grubunda takım lideri olarak çalışmaktadır. Kendisi bu ekipte görüntü işleyerek, dronun haritalandırma, konum bulma, derinlik analizi ve sürülebilir alan tespiti konularında çalışmaktadır. Ayrıca kendisi 1 Ekim 2020 yılında DeepSport Yapay Zeka Teknolojileri ve Danışmanlık Limited şirketini kurarak, girişimcilik kariyerine başlamıştır.
