As a professor and coordinator, I developed a new Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Program (e-learning and in-person modalities) at UNINTER International University Center, Brazil. My responsibilities varied through new Electrical Engineering curriculum and laboratory implementation, course legalization, staff administration and all aspects of project management, including resources and finance, stakeholder relations and long-term strategy. Through these experiences, I developed multiple and diverse competencies in technical and management in Engineering Education. Here are some notable achievements:• Elaborated and Implemented a new curriculum to Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Program (e-learning and in-person modalities).• Projected, budgeted and implemented laboratories activities in Electrical Engineering in-person Undergraduate Program. In addition, developed applied learning activities in the Electrical Engineering e-learning Program through virtual and customized portable labs for distance education.• Built and managed a qualified and committed team who contributed in many strategical and technical aspects to maintain the quality and feasibility of the program.

I was involved in a research project on Electric Power and Energy Systems supported by LACTEC Institute. With the development of this project I also conducted my Master’s research in the Electrical Engineering Graduate Program in Federal University of Parana, Brazil. The research focus was in the analysis of optimal operation of distribution systems with synchronous generators via Transient Stability Constrained Optimal Power Flow (TSC-OPF). • Determined an efficient algorithm to provide the optimal dispatch of synchronous generators connected in distribution systems solved by Transient Stability Constraints Optimal Power Flow (TSC-OPF). • Developed a new approach for optimization problem with distributed generation in order to ensure an adequate steady-state network operation and also a satisfactory transient response of the generators with incidence of severe perturbations in distribution systems. This new method in stability of the first oscillation peak was quite efficient in terms of reduction of the sizing in the variables of the optimization problem as well as reflected a significant reduction of the computation and memory consumption.

The performance of these materials was assessed in laboratory tests and analyzed in high aggression environments such as pollution and high salinity levels.
