I am working on collaborative research with the Oceanographic Research Center-BRIN, with the research topic "Marine Microbes: Isolation of Microbes Associated with Plankton HAB"Research activities that I have carried out during my internship include:1. Have completed research on microbes associated with HAB (Harmful Algal Bloom) plankton.2. Isolate bacteria using spread plate, pour plate, streak plate techniques.3. Count bacterial colonies using the Total Plate Count (TPC) method.4. Screening and characterizing bacteria.5. Carry out the purification process to obtain a single strain isolate.6. Carrying out a growth test, namely gram staining to identify gram negative or positive isolates, calculating Optical Density (OD) values ​​using a spectrophotometer to determine the height and low of growth.7. Record the results of the growth of microalgae and microbes from day 0 to day 3.
