If I had to describe myself with just one emoji, it would be the melting face (🫠). I'm proudly Brazilian, living in Auckland, New Zealand, (yep I’m bilingual) and the melting face emoji really captures what it feels like in Auckland's humidity.Another quality I share with the melting face emoji is flexibility – it’s literally in the process of changing shape. Through my marketing roles, I’ve honed my skills in adaptability and flexibility. I can easily pick up new tasks, learn new skills and mould to new situations when needed.For the past 5 years, I've been immersed in the social media world. It all began with freelance gigs for startups companies, all while juggling the demands of pursuing my Advertising degree and holding down a full-time office assistant role (yep, I also did social media management there, wild right? many hats girl, hi, HAHA).Upon earning my degree, I transitioned into contracted social media management roles, where I honed my craft in content creation. Simultaneously, I embarked on a personal journey of content creator, sharing my experiences as an LGBTQ+ woman and now as a Brazilian navigating life abroad. Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some incredible brands across various industries, including skincare, art, telecommunications, accessories, and events. Each role has enriched my skill set and deepened my understanding of effective marketing strategies. I like to observe, learn, investigate, and analyse, and I believe these are valuable skills to have for a career in marketing.To me, the melting face emoji fits into every life situation, and its meaning can change in different contexts.
