He is associated with Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi South Campus, as an Assistant Professor in 2013 and is now Professor. He was involved in establishing new simulation and measurement facilities in the department, using Signal Source, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, and Anechoic chamber to characterize the microwave antennas and components. He has published over 60 articles in international/national journals, and his works have been presented at about 20 international conferences. He authored a technical book titled “Uncertainty Estimation in Complex S-parameter Measurements” by Lambart Publication. He has completed five minor projects on microwave technology and has guided many M.Sc./M.Tech. students in their project work and supervised Ph.D. scholars. He is a member of various professional bodies, including the IEEE Delhi Chapter. His research interests include microwave component design and characterization, Compact filters, planar antennas for 5G mobile communications, MIMO antennas, Electromagnetic characterization, and RF metrology.

Teaching and Research

In Oct 2004, I joined Electrical & Electronics Standards Division in National Physical Laboratory, where my job responsibilities were establishment, maintenance and up gradation of the national standards for RF Attenuation and Impedance parameters and providing Apex level calibration and dissemination of these parameters for national users, i.e. Government and industrial organizations to maintain the national traceability. The activity has the calibration facilities upto 18 GHz and measurement facilities upto 40 GHz and Vector network analyzer in the range 40 MHz to 20 GHz. I was also taking care of Quality system establishment and maintenance as per ISO 17025: 2005 and BIPM requirement.Since August 2010, I was working in Amorphous and Micro-crystalline Silicon solar cells group under Physics of Energy Harvesting division. where the aim is R & D on thin film silicon solar cells. My main responsibilities were the deposition of p,i,n type silicon films using PECVD system for research on Thin film silicon solar cell development.

I was with the Scientific Instruments Company Ltd. (SICO) at Ghaziabad (UP) as Engineer (Microwave) in 2003-2004. My main job responsibilities were designing and development of MIC passive components and Quality control and testing of waveguide components at production level. We launched a new commercial product titled “Advanced Microstrip Trainer kit ”, in which I emphasized on design and performance test of various microwave components and development of microstrip components.
