My main research focus is on online Animal Activity Recognition. I use machine learning models as activity classifiers to recognize various activities of animals using motion data. I am studying unsupervised representation learning to exploit unlabeled data. Other areas of expertise are the collection, processing, and labeling of sensor data. I am interested in active and curiosity-driven machine learning.

I Continued development of the DLCO Simulator and in the second period the Human Metabolic Simulator. I designed a circuit board and created a 3D housing concept. I continued work on the firmware and Labview software for controlling the device through USB. I developed an universal USB module to apply USB functionality in various IngMar products. Beside these projects I also reviewed and worked on the firmware of other products within IngMar.
