I have had the privilege of working as a sensitivity reader for major news outlets and journals, such as Bloomberg and the British Medical Journal. In this role, I carefully examined articles and publications for tone and content, ensuring that they were respectful and considerate while representing marginalised communities.Additionally, I was also tasked with sensitivity reading Ms Aletta Andre's debut novel and children's book titled "Het meisje dat door India fietste" (The Girl Who Cycled Through India) in the Dutch language. The book is based on the remarkable story of Jyoti Kumari, a 15-year-old Dalit girl from India who cycled her way back to her hometown, Sirhulli in Bihar, during the pandemic situation in 2020. As a sensitivity reader, my role was to ensure that the portrayal of Jyoti's story was done in a sensitive and respectful manner, and that it accurately depicted her experiences as a young girl from a marginalized community.Through my work as a sensitivity reader, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the importance of sensitivity and inclusivity in the media and literature. It has been a privilege to contribute to projects that promote empathy and understanding, and I am grateful for the opportunity to use my skills and expertise to make a positive impact in the world.

I have worked as a model for reputed photographers, designers and makeup artists in India and abroad. 1. I posed for Paul Ford, a US-based artist who creates art in a variety of media, including photography, printmaking, sculpture and poetry. He featured me as a model in a poetry collection called "A Bottle and Her" published by Peanut Press in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.2. I have been featured as a model for Swapn by Aanchal, a homegrown jewellery brand based out of Delhi, India.3. I have also modelled for Swiatlo by Liz Hartman, a fashion brand born in New York and bred in Delhi.4. Archisman Misra and I collaborated for a photoshoot titled "ReBirth" published in the international magazine Nakid.

As a Program Director at The Bahujan Collective, I was responsible for overseeing various teams, including the content and social media team, PR team, and teams working with writing coaches and consultants. In addition to managing these teams, I assisted with the recruitment process by identifying suitable candidates and ensuring representation from marginalized groups.My key accomplishment at The Bahujan Collective was organizing Ignite 2022, a creative and therapeutic writing workshop taught by Linda Jones, a Creative Writing Consultant, Journalist, and Grief Recovery Specialist. I also served as a literary mentor for the workshop, designing and delivering a refresher course to assist participants in clarifying any doubts they had about the concepts taught by Linda Jones.At The Bahujan Collective, our focus was on providing a safe platform for the oppressed scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, and other backward communities in the Indian subcontinent. We achieved this by training individuals to express their own stories through art and literature in specialized workshops conducted by creative writing coaches, grief consultants, and painters from oppressed communities.

Worked on a project named "Kaalitales" that involved designing programs for school going students across cities in the country. The modules were designed such that they aided them in both, reimagining and rewriting traditional folklore and fairytales in a radically different way, questioning stereotypes proposed by the traditional stories.

Worked as a peer educator at the organisation for their Know Your Body, Know Your Rights (KYBKYR) programme which falls under the category of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE). The programme was aimed at building young people's technical capacities to access unbiased, evidence-based information on gender, sexuality, and health rights.As a part of this program, we designed bilingual CSE curriculums for young individuals and conducted workshops for high-risk and low-income groups based in Delhi. These interventions involved conducting and documenting needs assessments, monitoring and evaluations as well as endlines to monitor the impact.

Worked as a research assistant for their project fellow Ms Minshu Cheng, from International Christian University, Taiwan. Her Doctoral thesis was on violence against marginalised single women in India. As a part of my responsibilities, I helped her during her field trips, helped her in identifying candidates, recording their interviews, transcribing and translating those interviews from Hindi to the English language.
