About Kamran Ghiassi

I have a passion for helping others grow and achieve their goals, personally and professionally. As a leader, I love teaching and mentoring, and firmly believe that both help shape an individual’s career. That said, my calling is to train scientists and engineers to solve complex problems through multidisciplinary teamwork and collaboration.Currently, I am the leader of the Applied Materials Group and a senior chemist at the Air Force Research Laboratory. My expertise includes synthesis (inorganic, organometallic, organic), materials, X-ray crystallography, analytical chemistry, and spectroscopy.
