WWF-Pakistan, in partnership with International Labor Organization (ILO) and funding from the European Union (EU), executed a project titled “International Labour and Environmental Standards Application in Pakistan’s SMEs (ILES) [2016-2024]. The project focused on strengthening the textile and leather sectors competitiveness while also empowering the public sector to enforce multi-lateral environmental agreements and national environmental laws. The project impact study comprehensively assessed the outcomes and implications of the ILES Project's initiatives within the textile and leather value chains during the last years.

Facilitated partnership and capacity building unit to support implementing partners to accelerate the adoption of sustainable and climate-friendly farming practices.

Managed a capacity building and partnership management unit via designing and implementing strategies for Programme Partners (PPs) focusing on continuous improvements at the field level that impact 2030 strategy concentrating on standards & systems, climate change, livelihoods, resource efficiency, and women empowerment achieved well through sustainable cotton farming.Implemented a capacity-building and organisational development model benefiting 350,000 farmers by promoting sustainable farming practices. This focused on climate change, women empowerment, and livelihoods to meet the sustainable textile supply chain demand. Prepared programme partners to upgrade processes through due diligence, training, and advisory for sustainable cotton farming and successfully executing Growth & Innovation Fund (GIF) projects. Advised and worked with federal and provincial governments to facilitate the transition of cotton production to sustainable practices, enhancing traceability and business growth and assisted the provincial government in developing a ‘Decent Work Strategy’ for agriculture, improving labour standards.Engaged large-scale farms to adopt sustainable practices, integrating them into sustainable cotton value chains and enhancing business opportunities. Led HRM, procurement, budgeting, financial, and administrative functions, including managing a team of seven thematic specialists.

Lead a regional project in Pakistan to promote sustainability in the textile sector focusing on organizational development and competence enhancement models for the textile factories. Designed and implemented Change Management Strategies (Dialogue for Compliance, Capacity Development, Learning & Exchange Practices) with around 50 textile factories focusing on environment and resource management. Facilitated multi-stakeholder dialogues among civil society, public & private sectors to enhance promotion of sustainability in the textile industry and provided support to implement capacity development measures.Conducted the training package on environment and resource management for textile industry professionals.
