I look at software as the backbone to the new era, and am glad to be a part of its development.Hello, I am a motivated, and driven self starter. A technological architect and a die hard DIY type of person.I'm a java specialist but have worked extensively with C# and keep those skills up to date developing video games and other systems all with C# and much much more. I've always generally specialized in web tech and have worked most with Angular, some with React and a whole lot of html/css/js (jquery, bootstrap, skel, many more...).I began my career studying computer science at my local community college. 1 year after studies began, I was hired as a student software developer to develop web applications for oracle db's, and helping the senior developer begin re-doing some work with java. 1 year after being hired by the college, I received an offer from IBM to be a Java programming specialist in their Michigan Delivery Center. Upon hire, I was put through 2 months of intense training in Advanced Java Web Services, XML and XML Schemas, JSP's, Servlets, and Java Beans. Immediately after training I landed an internal assignment as their Production LCM specialist. After one year, I was asked by the PM to step up and assume more responsibilities for our international team, as I had automated almost 70% of my position. I then became an Information Technologist, for Michigan State University after leaving IBM. I built a single page web application (before days of react/angular), an audience selection system. Leveraging advanced performance features of Oracle and SqlServer databases was the exciting part of this project. It was a C# full stack MVC web application using the Entity framework, VS and TFS. I am a published Android & iOS developer with a growing number of publications. I have won and judged in hackathons across the midwest, I have written a book on bitcoin....the list continues!Thank You for reading. For more details, please message me.

Senior Software Development EngineerDewpoint Dec 2016 - Feb 2021Lansing, Mi, UsAt Dewpoint I am a Senior Engineer and thought leader in our development communities. We are a firm based in Lansing, Michigan who work with medium to large size companies and enterprises to better their IT organization(s). From writing custom software to managing IT services we do it all and go the extra mile for our clients. My first project with Dewpoint was with an insurance company, where I was brought on as a consultant to work with existing dev teams developing a series of web applications. This was a full stack dev position, where I worked with Spring Boot, React and Redux, stand alone UIs deployed in a micro services environment using docker containers. I then went on to a legacy J2EE project at that same insurance company developing new features, maintenance releases, and assisting in architecture discussions revolving around previous experience I have with security, cryptography and best practices. I then worked on a cloud based genomics sequencing project in a .NET environment with MongoDB and SqlServer. This was a multi-tiered application with performance being the highest priority. After that project I went on to kick-off a campaign finance API-First web application built with Java, Spring, MySQL and AWS. I lead this project through it's MVP and it's first step stage of generating more revenue than it's direct overhead costs (agile release schedule). I am now back at our insurance client working on projects leveraging java, spring boot and angular. -
Lead Developer And ArchitectRepflow Oct 2017 - Jul 2020RepFlow is an automation platform for sales companies, teams and organizations. Automatically generate payroll regularly in minutes with accompanying commission statements ready to be delivered to the Department of Labor. It is a Java based web app deployed in a horizontally auto-scaled environment leveraging DigitalOcean API's. I was brought on to the project after the development phase of the MVP as the original developer was having complications with deployment techniques. I then began developing with the developer for future releases and through our 4th version before we ultimately called it quits for non-technical business reasons.

Lead Developer And Technical ArchitectKlubcams Llc Oct 2013 - Jan 2017Klubcams provided live video feeds of local entertainment in your area. Bars, Clubs, Restaurants, Concerts, and Venues all could have benefited by allowing potential patrons to view what is happening right now. I developed the API and Android app, and successfully outsourced the development of the iOS app. It was all-together an invaluable learning experience and took my career to another level at the time. -
R&D Triage Engineer ILiquid Web Jul 2015 - Dec 2016Lansing, Mi, UsOn the triage team, we were responsible for delegating advanced system issues (above & beyond what our support teams could deduce) and feature requests to the development teams that had experience with those systems. I was one of 3 who would take ownership of issues/features from design to deployment with the development teams they were assigned to. Assisting developers and communicating with stakeholders were our primary functions, secondary were tackling issues/features that were small enough to not require a team to be assigned (less than 40 hours of work). It was mostly Perl based environments in a web hosting company. There's always something new to learn and help continue to build my wealth of experience when working for the most heroic web host in the world! -
Information Technologist IMichigan State University Nov 2013 - Feb 2015East Lansing, Mi, UsI developed a new audience selection system for the Annual Giving department in University Advancement at MSU. It was an enticing project involving big data dating back as far as the 1800's (now electronic of course). It was built on the .NET framework leveraging an Oracle database. Performance and MVC standards were our main concerns. I lead this project by being actively involved with the major stake holders and truly understanding their business practices in their day to day needs from our data. -
Java Programming SpecialistIbm Feb 2012 - Nov 2013Armonk, New York, Ny, UsI was hired into IBM as a Java developer. My first project was technically more of a management role as a Production LCM overseer. Within my first 3 months on the project I automated over 75% of my daily duties to free up my time to study the system more in depth. I became a part of team leadership in low level diagnostics and the system architecture. I took lead in various short term development projects organized through our internal developer network. My responsibilities included Linux server administration, Java programming, software architecture recommendations, and life cycle management. The automation's were written using java and deployed with shell scripts and crons to get the job done routinely and effectively. I will always carry IBM's morals and initiatives to THINK and to reinvent. IBM and myself share alot of deep characteristics and visions for our future. -

Student DeveloperLansing Community College Mar 2011 - Feb 2012Lansing, Mi, UsThe software development for Lansing Community College consisted of two student developers (including myself), and a team leading Engineer. The majority of our development was centered around Oracle DB's using Application Express (PL/SQL). We were venturing into Java DB technologies and JSP's for our future development, which became my primary job beginning to convert our web apps (ApEx & PL/SQL) to J2EE applications. -
Computer TeacherAdvent House Ministries Feb 2011 - Feb 2012I helped create Advent's computer literacy program. In this program I would teach basic computer skills to people in unfortunate positions. Simply being able to set up an email account, and apply for jobs is vital to thriving in today's world. I would teach them how to apply them selves online using a computer.
